“Dr. Susan Gakwavu is the Founder and President of Deborah Generation Ministries, a movement birthed through a divine calling to awaken, equip, and empower women to rise as spiritual leaders, rebuilding their families, communities, and nations through prayer, prophetic insight, and purposeful living.”
A modern-day Deborah, Dr. Gakwavu is a respected leader, speaker, mentor, and advocate who is passionate about helping individuals discover their God-given purpose and walk confidently in their calling. Her ministry is rooted in the belief that transformed lives and thriving communities begin when people embrace their identity and assignment in Christ.
Beyond her ministry work, Dr. Gakwavu is the President of the Uganda Community Association in California, Founder of the New Life Autism Foundation serving families in Rwanda and Uganda, a dedicated Rotarian with the E-Club of Ugandans in the Diaspora. Dr. Susan Gakwavu is also an Ambassador for Uganda National Basketball Teams.
A devoted mother of three sons, Dr. Gakwavu combines faith, leadership, and service to create lasting impact across generations. Through her various leadership roles, she continues to inspire and empower the communities God has entrusted to her, helping them fulfill their potential and bring glory to Him.
